On what seems to be a series of bad luck, the team faced another difficult event at PFI for round 6 of the club championship.
Difficult qualifying conditions meant the best Blantford could achieve in the Junior Rotax category was 16th in group, 31st overall. Coupled with a disqualification from Heat 2, he found himself in the repecharge. Charging forward into the A final, going from 35th to 15th on track, an incident took Blantford out of contention and resulting in a 28th place finish.
In Senior Rotax, Pinder took to PFI for the first time. A disqualification from qualifying put him on the back foot straight out the gate. Pushing forward in the heats but being lumped with a penalty in Heat 2, landed Pinder in the Repecharge. He rounded out his weekend with a 5th place finish.
We look forward to the final round of the British Kart Championships at PFI this weekend.
