The weekend that could have been at the PFI Euro Trophy…
Both Barrett and Blantford put in strong performances in qualifying and the qualifying heats, leaving them both with a top ten start for the pre-finals.
After the rain came down, Blantford, starting 12th for the final, had a stellar start before an incident on track saw him drop down the running order. With damage to the kart, he finished in 30th.
A solid start to the DD2 final for Barrett saw him in second place from starting eighth, when a black flag for not completing the formation lap bought a premature end to his final.
We take the positives and keep moving forward.
Next up, we have a double race weekend with British Kart Champs at Warden Law and Whilton Mill Club Round 8.
