Having taken over the importership in 2020 for the French based kart manufacturer SODIKART, SODI Vitesse (UK) has become the most successful UK importer for SODIKART and have immensely raised the awareness of the brand in the UK. With record sales being achieved in its first year of business and beyond, SODI Vitesse is known for being a strong contender in both the European and British karting paddock.
Following the success of the importership deal, SODI Vitesse Racing Team was born. The Racing Team, since being established in 2021, led by Team Manager and Business Director Bradley Barrett, has had great success.
Most notably being crowned E20 European Champions, No.6 seed (2021) and No.5 seed (2022) in the KZ2 Motorsport UK British Championship and Ultimate Karting Championship Champions in 2022. Followed by two Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals Qualifiers.
2021 saw the launch of the first ever Micro Max academy in the UK alongside the SODI Academy. Following the success of The SODI Academy, several Junior Drivers have joined the SODI Vitesse Racing Team ranks and have even gone on to join the France-based SODI Factory Racing Team.
The team still thrives from strength-to-strength in the 2023 season, and have focused on the importance of driver development in preparation for a full throttle 2024 season, competing in multiple championships and new disciplines.
